I WROTE A NOVEL! - NANOWRIMO 2016 RECAP

Hi everyone!

So, this is my first and only NaNoWriMo update for 2016. Oops. I know I said I was going to post weekly (at least) but then life happened and school happened and I had to focus all of my writing energy on my novel. To say that I neglected my blog would be an understatement, since I literally haven't uploaded any post on any topic all month.

My impromptu blog hiatus must have paid off, though, because I WON NANOWRIMO! HELL YEAH! Not only did I win, I won over a week early and finished the first draft of my novel in just 28 days. AND I haven't been kicked out of sixth form for neglecting all my school work yet.

I'd call that a successful month. This post isn't me trying to brag about what an amazing writer I am or anything but...well, I'm pretty proud of myself and I want to tell everybody about it. Sorry not sorry.

TAG: THE SECRET LIFE OF A BOOK BLOGGER

Hi everyone,

Long time, no tag! I actually don't remember the last time I wrote a post that wasn't either a top 5 Wednesday list or something about writing, because I am a terrible blogger.

I was tagged by the lovely Lara at another teen reader to do the SECRET LIFE OF A BOOK BLOGGER tag, which was created by...someone. Lara said she couldn't find the original creator of this tag and my google searches were futile, so if you know who I should give credit to please tell me in the comments! Basically, this is just a bunch of questions about my (extremely mundane and probably very underwhelming to read about) blogging life.

1 WEEK TO GO! NANOWRIMO PREP UPDATE

ONE WEEK. ONE WEEK TO GO. THIS IS NOT A DRILL!

I'm freaking out, and I don't even have much more prep to do. My outline is finished, my characters are pretty well formed in my head and my Pinterest board is filled with cool inspirational stuff, so all I really need to do now is mentally prepare myself for the chaos of November. Oh, and world building. Damn world building.

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: NON CANON SHIPS

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

You know when there are two beautiful, perfect characters and they have amazing chemistry and their personalities go so wonderfully together and they're obviously soul mates and then THEY NEVER BLOODY GET TOGETHER? I do. I know it all too well.

If you haven't guessed yet, this weeks topic for Top 5 Wednesday is favourite non-canon ships. For anybody who doesn't speak fangirl:
Canon = what actually happens within the book/TV show/other thing
Non canon = things that do not happen with the book/TV show/thing
Ship = romantic relationship
So, a non-canon ship is a romantic relationship that doesn't actually happen within the thing.

This week's post contains both books and TV shows, because I have a lot of TV feels and I need to vent about it. They are in a particular order this time, for a change.

WARNING: This post will contain very mild spoilers for the Harry Potter series (INCLUDING Cursed Child), the Talon saga, Teen Wolf (the MTV show), the 100 (the TV series and the books). It will also contain feelings and caps lock.

NANOWRIMO TAG (2016)

16 DAYS TO GO! Are you freaking out yet? I know I am. I'm hoping to finish my full outline this weekend and then have the last two weeks to spend on character development and all that good stuff, but school is so crazy that I honestly don't know if I'll ever be prepared.

I'm kicking off my NaNo posts for this year with the NANOWRIMO TAG, which was created by NaNoWriMo legend Kristina Horner last year. I think I might have already done this but this is the 2016 EDITION. It's totally different.

WRITER WEEKENDS: MY NOVEL PLANNING PROCESS

Hi everyone,

With NaNoWriMo less than three weeks away (AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH) I am currently right in the middle of outlining my novel, and so it seems like the perfect time to talk about my planning process!

I am definitely not one of those people who can just open a blank document on November 1st and write a novel. I have loads of respect for anyone who can, but without my outline and detailed character profiles and world map and specifically created playlist I am completely lost. I normally spend at least a month or two planning before writing a book, and although the process obviously varies for each novel this is the general one I use.

DISCLAIMER: This is in no way a comprehensive guide to novel planning. It's just what works for me. Honestly, I don't even stick to it half the time anyway.

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: BOOKS THAT TOOK ME THE LONGEST TO READ

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

Hi everyone!

It's top 5 Wednesday time again. I feel like these are the only things I post now because...well, honestly they're really quick and easy to write and I don't have a lot of time.

Anyway, this weeks topic is Top 5 books that took you the longest to read. I'd consider myself quite a fast reader (at least I was before school happened) and it's very rare that I take any longer than a week to read a book, just to give you some context.

In no particular order...

SEPTEMBER READING WRAP UP

September is over! Thank god. It's almost always my least favourite month of the year and I'm so glad I don't have to go through another one for almost a year now.

I only read 3 and a half books in the last month which, whilst definitely not my best, isn't so bad considering it was my first month at Sixth Form and I spent most of my time completely freaking out about school. I think I'm starting to settle into the routine now, so hopefully in October I'll be able to find more time to read. Hopefully.

WRITER WEEKENDS: NANOWRIMO, TIME MANAGEMENT AND SHINY NEW IDEAS

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since I've talked about writing on here. That's mainly because I haven't been writing much at all, so I guess there wasn't much to say. Anyway, with NaNoWriMo around the corner I'm finally starting to get back into the writing spirit and do you know what that means? UPDATE TIME!

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: CHARACTERS YOU WOULDN'T WANT TO TRADE PLACES WITH

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

It's Wednesday! That means I've made it through half of my second week of sixth form, and now it's time for another Top 5 Wednesday. This week's topic is Top 5 characters you wouldn't want to trade places with. This was surprisingly difficult to narrow down because...well, most of my favourite characters have terrible lives that I would never want to experience. Let's be honest here, reading about fighting dragons and stuff is WAY better than actually doing it and getting killed in five minutes.

In no particular order...

WHERE I'VE BEEN AND WHAT I'M READING

Hi everyone!

So. It's been a long time since I posted anything on this blog. It's actually been a long time since I've posted anything on the internet at all. I have been outside, experiencing the REAL WORLD. I know, I know. Isn't it awful?

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: CHARACTERS I WANT AS FAMILY MEMBERS

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

Hi everyone,

It's the first Wednesday of September, which would be much more exciting if it wasn't the last Wednesday before I go back to school. Bleh.

Anyway, this weeks topic for Top 5 Wednesday is top 5 characters you want to be part of your family. It's pretty self explanatory, really. I decided to do this in the style of that tag that went around ages ago where you had to pick a character to be your mum, dad, brother etc. Does anyone remember that? No? Okay...

WRITER WEEKENDS: 5 USEFUL APPS AND WEBSITES

Hi everyone,

The internet is useful for a lot of things, right? Connecting with people, finding new information, watching cat videos...it just makes everything more convenient. Writing is no exception!

For this weeks Writer Weekend's post I wanted to bring some attention to five of my favourite websites (well, four websites and one phone) which have made the entire writing process SO much easier for me. All of these programs are completely free and don't require any sketchy downloads, because I am broke and terrified of computer viruses. Don't worry!

DISCUSSION: APPRECIATION VS. ENJOYMENT

Hi everyone,

Today I wanted to introduce something a little bit different for this blog, although everyone else has been doing them forever. Discussion posts! Basically, I give my (scattered, probably incoherent) thoughts on a topic and hopefully start a little bit of a debate in the comments!

This post was actually inspired by the hashtag #GameofthronesVsTeenwolf, which was trending in the UK the other day for some reason I didn't bother to look into. This isn't going to debate on which is the better show (I don't even watch Game of Thrones, honestly), but it did make me think about something; what's the difference between appreciating something is good and actually enjoying it?

AUGUST READING WRAP UP

Hi everyone,

In case you missed my constant complaining, I had been suffering from a severe lack of reading motivation for the past 7-ish months. It was very tragic. Luckily, this month I managed to recover a little bit and read some books. In fact, I read almost as many books this month as I did in every other month of 2016 so far. THE READING SLUMP IS OVER! OBSESSIVE-READER-MIA RISES FROM THE ASHES! HALLELUJAH!

Okay, I need to calm down now...here are all the books I read this month!

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: BOOKS I WANT TO READ BY THE END OF THE YEAR

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

Hi everyone,

I don't want to freak anyone out or anything, but there only four months left of this year. What the heck?! Luckily, that's long enough to read books. Lots of books. Boooooooooks...

Anyway, here are five (of the many) books I want to read by the end of the year. For the purpose of this list I decided to exclude books that are coming out later this year but haven't been published yet because, well, that's a whole other list.

WRITERS WEEKENDS: MY EDITING GAMEPLAN

Hi everyone,

So, Camp NaNoWriMo is long over and I decided it's time to bring back my old Writers Weekends series so I can carry on talking about my writing. Every Sunday there will be some kind of writing related post, whether it's tips, a tag or an update on what I'm working on.

I'm currently working on editing my first novel. This is the book I wrote when I was fourteen and it's also my first time really trying to edit anything so...yeah, there's a lot of work to do. It's terrible right now (after one very quick round of editing where I didn't really change anything), but hopefully I can change that now.

Without further ado, here is how I'm planning on going about editing this book.

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: AUTHORS I'M WAITING ON BOOKS FROM

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

Hi everyone,

It's Wednesday again! This weeks topic for Top 5 Wednesday is authors you're waiting on books from. These are authors whose writing I love and want to read more from but don't have any new books coming out soon (that I know of, anyway).

Authors, if you're somehow reading this, WRITE MORE STUFF! Please. Thank you.

DISCLAIMER: All the facts in this post are from my own knowledge and a quick Goodreads search. If any of these authors have published books I'm not aware of please let me know!

BOOKS THAT MADE ME CRY :,(

Hi everyone,

I am the kind of person that cries at books. A lot. Like, I seriously cry to some extent at more than 75% of the books I read. I'm just a very emotional person anyway, and I get extremely attached to characters extremely quickly. It's not a good combination.

Upon thinking about this, I realised that most of the books I get really emotional about fit into four different categories. In this post I just wanted to talk about those, and give a few examples of books in each category in case you want to spend all your money on tissues too.

This post was prompted by Lisa Heathfield's Paper Butterflies, which made me cry for over an hour straight. It's brilliant and it broke me. You should read it!

AUGUST TBR

Hi everyone,

GOOD NEWS: I'm out of my reading slump! Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has managed to restore my reading motivation, and for the first time this year I actually feel like I can pick up a book a read. It feels AMAZING. J.K. Rowling is my hero.

To celebrate my newly recovered reading mojo, here are some of the books I'm planning to read over the next month.

I WON! - CAMP NANOWRIMO JULY 2016 RECAP

Hi everyone,

So, Camp NaNoWriMo is over and I am officially a WINNER! Yes!!! There was a point when I thought I wasn't going to make it, but I am very happy to say that I wrote (just) over 50,000 words in the month of July. Today I just wanted to go through a quick recap of my month and report on my final word count.

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: PART 2 SPOILER DISCUSSION

Welcome back to my spoilery discussion/rant on Harry Potter and the Cursed Child! This isn't going to make any sense unless you read part one, so I suggest go and do that. I'll skip the intro here because...well, Part Two had a ridiculous amount of stuff to rant about in it.

SPOILER ALERT! MAJOR SPOILER ALERT! DO NOT PROCEED UNLESS YOU HAVE READ/WATCHED THE CURSED CHILD!

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: PART ONE SPOILER DISCUSSION!

IT'S HERE!

The Cursed Child had it's official premiere on the West End yesterday and the script book is out today, which means I can finally talk about it! Yay! I saw the show last Saturday (July 23rd) and I have a LOT to say about it.

I've already done a spoiler free review which gave more thoughts about the actual production of the play (spoiler: I loved it), so this post is really just going to focus on the story itself. That means it will be full of spoilers, and I will no longer be #keepthesecrets-ing. Think carefully about whether you want to read this.

Disclaimer: I saw a preview performance of the show, so some aspects may have changed in the final production.

Disclaimer #2: This is just my opinion. You might have a different one, and you can tell me about it in the comments!

This post will only discuss Part One because I could basically rant about this forever. Click   to see my thoughts on Part Two.

SPOILER WARNING! SPOILER WARNING! READ AT YOUR OWN RISK! SPOILERS!!!!!!!!

READING SLUMP RANT + CURRENTLY READING

Hi everyone!

So, I'm in a reading slump. Still. I have been for pretty much this entire year, but now I can't even blame it on exams or other school stuff. It's summer and I'm totally free, so why am I not reading?

CAMP NANOWRIMO: WEEK 4 UPDATE

Hi everyone,

Welcome to the most pathetic Camp NaNo update ever written!

I've barely written anything this week and I'm starting to panic slightly. Am I about to lose NaNo for the first time? *cries*

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: MY EXPERIENCE + TIPS

Hi everyone,

So, there are now only 2 DAYS until the opening night of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child and 3 DAYS until the script book is released! I saw both parts of the play last Saturday, and today I just wanted to talk about my experience and give some tips for people who are going to watch the show in the next few months.

THIS POST WILL NOT DISCUSS THE PLOT OF THE SHOW IN ANY WAY. DON'T WORRY ABOUT SPOILERS!

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: UNLIKABLE CHARACTERS

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.

Hi everyone,

It's Top 5 Wednesday time! This week's topic is TOP 5 UNLIKABLE CHARACTERS, specifically characters that you hate but aren't really supposed to (no villains, basically).

This was fun for me because I hate a lot of people, including fictional people, and I enjoy venting about it a lot. Do not be alarmed if I sound overly aggressive or violent in this post. I just get really, really annoyed about fictional characters.

In no particular order, because I hate them all equally...

Monday, 25 July 2016

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: SPOILER FREE REVIEW!

Hi everyone,

There are now only 5 DAYS until the Cursed Child opening night, and 6 DAYS until the script book is released! I saw the play myself on Saturday the 23rd of July and...it was an experience, to say the least.

Today I just want to talk about my general thoughts on the play without giving any spoilers. All the secrets will be kept! I have a lot to say, and my opinions are all over the place, but I'll try to keep this as eloquent and brief as possible.

A few disclaimers before we start:
1- I saw a preview performance of the play. This means that what I saw may not be exactly the same as the play on opening night, but I can only comment on what I experienced.
2- I will not mention any specific plot points, twists or other 'secrets' in this post, but it's impossible for me to discuss the play without saying something. If you don't want to know any tiny bits of information please leave now.
3- This review comes from a very passionate but relatively new (I've only been in the fandom for about a year) Harry Potter fan. This will probably effect my opinion on the play and I admit to being biased. I'm a fan, not a theatre critic.
4- This story is undoubtedly going to be very polarising and everyone's going to have their own opinion. This is mine. Please respect it!

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: HARRY POTTER SPELLS BOOK TAG

Hi everyone,

So, there are only 7 DAYS until the Cursed Child opens on the West End and 8 DAYS until the release of the script book. If this goes up when it should it's 12pm on the 23rd of July, which means I am two hours away from watching the first half of the Cursed Child. TWO HOURS! I'm probably freaking out and crying in the middle of London by now.

To celebrate this very exciting, I'm going to be doing another Potter-themed book tag. This one's all about the spells! This tag was created on youtube years ago (I am so good at keeping with the times), but I actually can't track down the original creator. If you know who made this please let me know so I can credit them!

CAMP NANOWRIMO: WEEK 3 UPDATE

Hi everyone,

We're three weeks into Camp NaNoWriMo and...well, it's kind of gone downhill for me over the past few days. I'm still ahead thanks to all my writing in the first two weeks, but I haven't been writing much (see: anything at all).

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: MY HARRY POTTER STORY

Hi everyone,

It's July 17th when this post is going up, which means there are only 13 DAYS until the Cursed Child opens in the West End, 14 DAYS until the script book is available and 6 DAYS until I get to see the play myself. I am officially freaking out.

Today I wanted to talk about my own personal experiences with the Harry Potter series. This is probably really self indulgent and no one cares, but whatever. I just think it's fascinating how Harry Potter has effected so many people's lives in different ways and everybody has completely different experiences, but we all love the books in the same way

CAMP NANOWRIMO: I FINISHED THE FIRST DRAFT!

Hi everyone,

I know I only posted my week two Camp NaNo update yesterday (read that HERE!), but I had a very exciting development today that I just had to talk about.

I FINISHED THE FIRST DRAFT OF MY NOVEL! AHHHHHH!

This post is totally just going to be a stream of consciousness type of thing, and I am extremely tired right now. Apologies for any weird sentences or awful grammar mistakes that may occur as a result of these circumstances.

CAMP NANOWRIMO: WEEK 2 UPDATE

WE'RE HALF WAY THERE, GUYS!

Hi everyone,

Week two of Camp NaNoWriMo is over, and I'm officially exhausted. I need sleep. If I sound slightly hysterical in this post that is why.

Aside from the sleep deprivation, Camp NaNo is going pretty well for me so far! I reached 30 thousand words yesterday, which I was very happy about, and my story is still moving along pretty smoothly. Here are my stats for the month so far:

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: BOOKS I WISH HAD SEQUELS

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.
Hi everyone,

It's Wednesday again! I've been extremely unproductive this past week (hooray for not being at school!), but it still feels like only five minutes since last weeks top 5 Wednesday post went up. I swear I write these every day.

Anyway, this weeks topic is top 5 books that should have sequels. This was actually quite hard for me since most of the books I read are part of sequels anyway, but I managed to find five books that I just really want to read more of. If any of the authors of these books happen to be reading this, PLEASE WRITE MORE!

In no particular order...

CAMP NANOWRIMO - WEEK ONE UPDATE

Hi everyone,

It's currently day eight of Camp NaNoWriMo 2016, and I'm feeling pretty good about it! I passed 15,000 words yesterday, my story's moving along relatively well, and I haven't had a mental breakdown yet. I feel so successful.

Today is my one week update, where I'll be talking about my word count, my goals for next week and some of the challenges I've faced so far. I'm going to keep it quick, because honestly it's eight at night and I haven't written anything today and I'm stressing out a bit.

To find out more about Camp NaNoWriMo, and my plans for this month, you can read my announcement/introduction from last week!

TOP 5 WEDNESAY: BOOKS OUTSIDE OF MY COMFORT ZONE

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY WAS CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY AND IS CURRENTLY HOSTED BY THOUGHTS ON TOMES. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP.
Hi everyone,

It's been months since I've done a top five Wednesday post, so if this reads really awkwardly it's just because I've forgotten what to do!

Anyway, this week's topic is TOP 5 BOOKS OUTSIDE OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE. These books are ones that I wouldn't normally pick up and didn't necessarily expect to enjoy, but I actually ended up really loving.

To preface, my comfort zone is young adult fiction, normally fantasy or sci fi variety. I almost never read non fiction, am completely intimidated by classics, and have very little experience with adult fiction. Basically, my comfort zone is pretty small.

DISCLAIMER: I had SO much trouble with the formatting on this post for some reason, so if it looks awful I'm really sorry. Blogger really hates me.

CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN: ULTIMATE HARRY POTTER TAG

Hi everyone,

There are currently only 25 DAYS until the opening night of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on the West End! That's 26 days until the release of the script book (I just got my ticket for the midnight release party!), and only 18 days until I actually see the show myself. Needless to say, I am very excited about this.

Today I wanted to do a post that really celebrated the whole Harry Potter franchise, and what better way is there to do that than the Ultimate Harry Potter Book Tag?! This tag was created by Just Keep Reading on YouTube back in 2014, and consists of 30 fun Potter-themed questions.

SPOILER ALERT: This post will contain spoilers for the Harry Potter books and movies, so read at your own risk! It does not contain any spoilers for the Cursed Child (I don't know any myself yet!).

ANNOUNCEMENTS: CAMP NANOWRIMO + CURSED CHILD COUNTDOWN

Hey everyone!

So, I haven't posted here in a while (if 'a while' = the entirety of exam season). Oops.

Unfortunately my life got really crazy with GCSEs and stuff, and everything that wasn't school had to be pushed to the side for a few months. It hurts me to say this, but I've read less than ten books in the first half of 2016 and I've barely written anything since November.

Luckily, exams are over now and I basically have all of July and August free, which means it's time to start blogging again! July is going to be a very exciting month for me in terms of bookish stuff, and today I just wanted to kick it all off by introducing two new series thingies (that's definitely the technical term) that will be appearing on this blog over the course of the next month...

THE OSCARS: YA BOOK-TO-MOVIE ADAPTATION EDITION

Hi everyone,

Long time no see! I've been so busy with school recently and my house is being decorated right now and...yeah, you get the point.

Anyway, since the Oscars are on tonight and all that, I thought it would be a good time to celebrate some of my favourite movies...movies based on young adult books, that is. Basically, I've just taken some of the catagories from the Oscar's and chosen my own winners from YA book-to-movie adaptations.

I've not seen anybody else doing this, I don't think, but if I've accidentally stolen it from somewhere please let me know! Also, sorry for the weird formatting; blogger hates me and I'm crap with computers.

THE OTP TAG

Happy Valentines day everyone!

I may not have a date for today (or ever), but that doesn't stop me from celebrating the love of some of my favourite couples. Fictional couples, that is.

Today I'm going to be doing the OTP tag, which was created on youtube by Kirstin Reads. I'm not limiting myself to just book couples here, mostly because I need to let out my Teen Wolf feels...

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: BOOKS I WAS SPOILED FOR

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY IS A WEEKLY MEME CREATED BY GINGERREADSLAINEY. YOU CAN FIND ALL OF THE INFORMATION IN THE GOODREADS GROUP

Hi everyone,

It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another T5W post! This weeks topic is top 5 books you were spoiled for, and boy do I have a lot to say about it...

Unfortunately, I have one particular friend who has the same book taste as me and is incapable of keeping her mouth shut if something shocking happens. I also have access to the internet. Because of this, I've been spoiled for way more books than is acceptable. Here are just five of the most devastating ones.

NOTE: Sorry there are no pictures for the last two books. I've been having loads of problems with blogger recently, and today it's decided not to let me insert pictures anymore. If there's any weird formatting I apologise for that too; I don't know what's going on.

'HAMILTON' BOOK TAG

If you've been in earshot of me in the past few months, you will know that I am deeply obsessed with the musical Hamiton. Seriously, I would like to take this opportunity to apologise to all the friends who have heard me attempting to rap. This show has taken over my life. Therefore, when I discovered there was a Hamilton BOOK TAG on youtube (created by the wonderful Maureen Keavy) I knew I had to do it as soon as humanly possible.

This tag might not make much sense if you haven't listened to the Hamilton cast recording (or been one of the lucky people who have seen the show live), in which case I advise you to GO AND LISTEN TO THE HAMILTON CAST RECORDING. The whole thing's on Spotify, so you really have no excuse not to.

Disclaimer: I did leave out a few questions I couldn't think of good answers for. Sorry!

WARNING: This post will contain spoilers. All spoilers are clearly marked, but if you really don't want to hear spoilers from the Harry Potter or the Mortal Instruments series you might want to leave now. Read at your own risk!
