#TBRTAKEDOWN READTHON: TBR

I love readathons. They always make me read so much more than I normally would, and I end up being so much more productive. Unfortunately I was too busy to take part in all the readathons that happened in May, but my exams are finally over and I'm ready to READ EVERYTHING.

The #TBRTakedown is being hosted by leaninglights, and runs between the 1st (tomorrow!) and 7th of June. You can find out all the information HEREThere are five challenges for this readathon, and I am planning on completing them all. I think I can do it!

Here are the books I'm planning to read through the week...

STACKING THE SHELVES #1

STACKING THE SHELVES IS A WEEKLY MEME CREATED AND HOSTED BY TYNGAS REVIEWS

Today is my first STACKING THE SHELVES post! I've seen this meme around for ages on various book blogs, and I've finally decided to take part myself. Hopefully you'll be seeing more of these posts in the future (and I don't totally forget about it like I normally do).

If you didn't know, Stacking the Shelves is a meme where you show all of the books you've acquired over the past week. I've actually been quite good at restricting my book buying/requesting recently, so today's haul is a bit smaller than my usual ones.

Without further ado, here are the books I've gotten over the past seven days...

THE EXTRAORDINARY MEANS BOOK TAG

Hi guys!

I just finished reading  Extraordinary means by Robyn Schneider, and it was really good! It was also really, really heartbreaking. My review will be up tomorrow when I've had time to collect my thoughts/dry my tears.

As well as being a bad ass author, Robyn Schneider also has a youtube channel where she posted a Tag she created inspired by her new book (watch that video HERE). I thought it looked like a lot of fun, so I decided to do the tag myself.

As it turns out, deciding which books you'd go to extraordinary means for is a lot harder than it sounds, but I did my best to come up with some answers...

I'M BACK + A QUICK TBR

Hi everyone!

I've been super busy with school for the past two weeks, so I haven't posted on this blog in ages (okay, it's only been a few days, but it felt like forever!).
Luckily my exams are over for now and I should have a lot more time to write blog posts. Thank God!

I also have a whole week off of school now, and I plan to spend it reading as much as humanly possible. I've fallen totally behind on books from netgalley, so most of my time is going to be spent trying to catch up.

Without further ado, here are the books I'm planning to read over the next week or so...

MIA REACTS: CLARY, SIMON AND ISABELLE CASTING (SHADOWHUNTERS TV)

Hi guys,
It's been another really exciting few days for the Shadowhunter fandom, and now we have three new members in the TV show cast! Ahhh!

I am SO excited about the Shadowhunters TV show (sorry if you're not and you're here for the book reviews. There'll be more of those soon.) and I think the cast seems really promising thus far, so today I just wanted to share my thoughts about the casting for Simon, Isabelle and Clary.
If you want to see my thoughts on Dominic Sherwood as Jace, click HERE

DISCLAIMER: Obviously, these are just my first impressions and I can't really say anything until I actually see the show. I might take all of this back in a few months...

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: BOOKS THAT SHOULD BE TV SHOWS

It's Wednesday again! I feel like I'm writing these posts every five minutes...

This week, the topic for top 5 Wednesday is TOP 5 BOOKS THAT SHOULD BE TURNED INTO TV SHOWS (NOT MOVIES).
This is actually something I've thought about a lot in the past, and I had tons of picks to choose from when I was making this list. It was really hard to cut this down to five!

If you are a TV producer person reading this, please make these shows happen. Thanks!
