TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: MY FAVORITE ANTIHEROES

Hello guys, welcome back to top 5 Wednesday!
Today's topic is favorite antiheroes, which was a really hard one for me to think of. Who even counts as an antihero? IDK. Half the characters on this lest probably don't.

Here is the definition of anti hero that I used for the purpose of this post. I've heard a lot of different definitions though...this is kind of confusing.
An antihero or antiheroine is a leading character in a story who, unlike a traditional hero, lacks conventional heroic qualities such as idealism, courage, and morality.

Not all of my picks are leading characters. Oops. Sidekicks need antihero love too!

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: AUTHORS I WANT TO MEET

It's Wednesday again! Is it just me, or is 2015 going really fast so far?
Anyway, the theme for this weeks top 5 Wednesday is authors you want to meet. This was kind of hard for me, I just want to meet ALL THE AUTHORS!, but I managed to cut it down to five based on
a) how much I enjoyed their books
and
b) how interesting I think they would be to talk to.
Here they are:

*DISCLAIMER: I'm not including Cassandra Clare in this list, even though she's my favorite author, because I've already met her. She was a total sweetheart.*

Hello there!
I've been slacking a little bit on posts, but I have an excuse. EXAMS! Luckily they're over now, so I should have so much more free time.
I'm half way through writing two posts right now (a writing update and a review of 'Me and Mr J.' by Rachel McIntyre), but I wanted to get something up tonight. Sorry if it's short
Without further ado, here are the books I want to read this weekend....

TOP 5 WEDNESDAY: SERIES I WANT TO START THIS YEAR

Hi guys!
Firstly I have to apologize if I haven't been posting much, or if what I have said sounded like the ramblings of a lunatic. I have ten exams this week and it's totally taking over my life, but it'll be business as usual this weekend.
With that said, it's Wednesday!!! You know what that means.

Here are the top five series I want to start this year...

NETGALLEY HAUL

Hi guys! I recently discovered netgalley and I went kind of crazy requesting books. Oops. I wasn't approved for all of them and a lot of these titles were on 'read now', but here are the ebooks that I received.
I'm not going to talk about what each book's about because there are quite a few, but reviews for all of them will be coming soon.
Lets just get into it!

CHRISTMAS BOOK HAUL

This is pretty late, but I've never been a particularly punctual person. Get used to it.

I got quite a few books for Christmas from my parents (mum, if you're still reading this damn blog, THANKYOU! now stop reading) and I just purchased a few today with some of the money I got.
Let's get started!

As per usual, goodreads links are in the brackets next to each title where you can get more information

WORST BOOKS OF 2014!

So, you're probably sick of me going on about what I read last year by now, but this post is different. These are my LEAST FAVORITE books of 2014, because I like to complain about things. It's pretty much my only skill.

Disclaimer: This post is all just my opinion. I'm not saying I hate the authors or that nobody else should read them, I just personally didn't really enjoy them. If you love these books, that's awesome!

As usual, I've got goodreads links for all the books if you want more information about what they're about.

MOST ANTICIPATED 2015 RELEASES

Hello from the past! I'm pre-writing a bunch of posts for the next few days, because before January 5th I need to do all my Christmas holiday homework, read 'an inspector calls' and start revising for the 10 exams I have in the second week back at school. Never leave your homework for the last minute, kids.

Anyway, I'm here to tell you about the books coming out this year that I can't freaking wait to read. Most of them are sequels, some of them are from authors I love, and there are a couple that just really caught my attention whilst I was scrolling through goodreads. I'll leave you the goodreads link for every book, so if you're interested you can click on that for a full synopsis.

I've tried to put these in chronological order, but of course some of the dates might change. I can't do anything about that, sorry!

TOP 14 BOOKS OF 2014

2014 is over and, though it may be a cliche to say, I can't believe how fast the year went!
I read a grand total of 86 books this year (counting rereads), so I just about beat my goodreads goal of 85. Go me!
These books were the best of the 86, the cream of the crop, the ones that made me laugh and cry and squeal and stayed with me long after I'd finished reading.
I'm not going to give you a full synopsis of each book, just a quick explanation of why I loved them so much, so I'll include the goodreads link for each book for you to find more information.

Here they are, from my least favorites (that were still completely amazing) to my favorite book of the year!

HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy new year everybody! It's officially 2015 (in the UK, anyway) and I just wanted to make a little blog post to:

A) Wish everybody an awesome 2015!!
and
B) tell you about my New Years resolutions
